And here we are MTB racing just round the corner!
Whilst wishing you all once again a happy and safe New Year, the organizing committee advises that it has lately been closely monitoring the situation with multiple events overlapping on the same Sunday.
Apart from the logistics nightmare to co-ordinate timing facilities, marshalling, permits, etc, this issue is also affecting multi-disciplined athletes competing in different sport discipline.
To this effect the organizing committee is seriously inclined on shifting the MTB XC race calendar to Saturday afternoons (similar to the majority of UCI XC races abroad) thereby allowing for a smoother and sequential racing calendar

Wow that would be great on a Saturday afternoon. The athletes would be able to take part in different sport discipline.
Also, kindly take note that on some Saturdays there are the swimming trials. The schedule can be found ASA swimming events Malta.
